Each participating side will be billed equally per the rates listed below for Mediation and/or Arbitration (“Conference”), unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
Two (2) parties: $200.00 per hour per party
Three (3) or more parties: $175.00 per hour per party
Two (2) hours per party
Time over two hours will be charged in thirty (30) minute increments.
There are no charges for the first hour of preparation time. Preparation time over the first hour will be charged $100.00 per hour per party. Preparation time includes, but is not limited to, review of case summaries, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, research and any other documents or items provided by any party.
Cancellations notified less than three (5) business days prior to the commencement will be charged the Minimum Fee. All cancellations must be communicated via email with the agreement of all sides expressly noted; preferably with both sides’ counsel on the email communication.
Parties represented by an attorney will be billed after the conference. Pro se parties must pay the Minimum Fee three (3) business days prior to the time of conference. Pro se parties will be billed any balance after the conference. Invoices are due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. The attorneys representing parties or their law firms are responsible to ensure that the Mediator/Arbitrator is paid within 30 days, and if not, the attorney (or law firm, if the attorney practices in a firm) will be personally liable for said fees and costs, including any cancellation fees.
